Jordan Tour with Superstar Holidays
Superstar Holidays can combine your holiday to Israel with a tour to Jordan that includes a visit to Petra, voted one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. We offer a three day tour starting on a Sunday or four day itinerary commencing on a Thursday. An example of the three day tour is featured below.
- Day 1: Sunday
- Drive from Tel Aviv via Jerusalem crossing into Jordan over the Allenby Bridge. You then visit Jerash a Roman city with its colonnaded streets, baths and temples. You will then continue to Amman the capital of Jordan for dinner and over night stay.
- Day 2: Monday
- After breakfast the tour takes you south to Wadi Musa the gateway to Petra. Here you can enter the Red Rock city through the Siq (made popular in the Indiana Jones film the Last Crusade) on horseback or on foot for your first sight of Petra is the much photographed Treasury. Other must sees are the tomb of the Nabatean King, then the field of the tombs, obelisks and altar. You will return to Amman in time for dinner and over night stay.
- Day 3: Tuesday
- From Amman we will take you to Madaba to see the ancient mosaic map of the Holyland and the ruins of many historical sites. From there you will continue to Mount Nebo from where Moses viewed the Promised Land before returning to Tel Aviv for over night stay. Following morning flight to London.
The prices include half board hotel accommodation, coach, English speaking guide, any airport transfers, entrance fees and portage at hotels. They do not include lunches, alcoholic drinks with meals, travel insurance, tips and horses at Petra.
