drive from Tel Aviv, up into the mountains. You cannot help but be over come by its historical and religious significance what ever faith you maybe. Dead Sea again is only a short drive from Tel Aviv, here the landscape changes dramatically. From the green north you cross into extreme desert with red mountains dominating the horizon. Once at the
Dead sea; the lowest point on Earth, this flat glass like sea offers a chance to swim in one of the worlds largest natural Spas.
At Israel’s most southerly point; Eilat on the coast of the
Red Sea , is drivable from Tel Aviv, and this is a good way to take in the rest of the country, however you can also fly.. Either Direct to Ovda airport from
London, which is just outside Eilat or fly to Tel Aviv and then take an internal flight to
Eilat
City airport, where you are within walking distance of the hotels. The majority of the Hotels in Eilat offer 4* or 5* accommodation, with bars, cafes restaurants and clubs lining the promenade, there is something here for all the family. Why not swim with the dolphins at Dolphin reef, visit the underwater observatory, or take the kids to

City the newly opened theme park. If you still want more history then take a day trip across the border to Jordan and visit the ancient red city of
Petra.
