EL AL has started a third frequency from London to Tel Aviv. The additional 6 times a week service from Luton Airport began on Sunday 3 May and is timed ideally for both business and leisure travellers. This new service means together with Heathrow, EL AL now fly 17 times a week to Tel Aviv.
Flights will depart Luton from Sunday to Thursday at 12.20 in the afternoon and arrive at Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport at 19.15. On Fridays they will depart London at 09.55 and arrive in Tel Aviv at 16.50. The return flight will leave Tel Aviv Sunday to Thursday at 07.30 arriving Luton 10.55.
On Fridays the departure time is 05.05 arriving in Luton at 08.30. The timings are good as departures and arrivals will be at times when the airport is probably at its quietest enabling swift boarding and disembarkation. EL AL are using B767 aircraft offering both Business and Economy cabins with full meals and drinks services.
The new service means that EL AL will no longer be flying from Stansted.
