Passports and Visas
Visitors to Israel must ensure that their passport is valid for at least six months after the date of travel. Visitors can remain in Israel for up to three months from their date of arrival (subject to terms of the visa issued). Many countries in Europe, Asia & Oceania, Africa and The Americas will be issued with visitors’ visas at port of entry - these are free of charge. You are advised to have this confirmed before travelling.
Language
Hebrew and Arabic are the official languages of Israel, yet English is also a compulsory subject in schools. All street and Commercial signs are in Hebrew and English and often Arabic.
Health Regulations
There are no vaccination requirements for visitors entering Israel. Some animals are exempt from veterinary permit if arriving with their owners, but their are many clauses, and so it is advisable to check with the Veterinary Service of the Ministry of Agriculture in advance of travel.
