Historical Tour Sample Itinerary

Day One	Arrival at Ovda/Eilat transfer to your Hotel for overnight stay
Day Two	Dead Sea - Masada - Jerusalem. Drive through the Arava Valley and along the Dead Sea to Masada the last stronghold of the Jewish Zealots. Visit the excavations including Herod’s palaces. Proceed via En Gedi to Jerusalem for dinner and overnight stay
Day Three	Ancient Jerusalem and Bethlehem . Walk through the Old City , Jewish Quarter, Western Wall, the colourful Bazaar and Via Dolorosa and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Continue to Bethlehem to visit Rachel’s Tomb and the Church of the Nativity. Return to Jerusalem for dinner and overnight stay.
Day Four	Jordan Valley - Tiberias - Galilee . Drive via Bethany and Jericho (if possible) and continue northward via Jordan Valley to Beit Shean. Proceed to Tiberias, the old centre of Jewish learning. Drive along the shores of the Sea of Galilee to Tabgha and Capernaum . Continue to Kibbutz Guest House for dinner and overnight stay.
Day Five	Upper Galilee - Golan Heights - Nazareth . Drive to the Golan Heights passing Druze villages, cross the Jordan River and continue via the Hula Valley to Safed to visit the old synagogues and artists’ colony. Continue to Nazareth to visit the Church of the Annunciation and Mary’s Well. Return to Kibbutz Guest House for dinner and overnight stay.
Day Six	Haifa - Tel Aviv. Leave for Acre to visit the famous Crusaders’ stronghold. Continue to Haifa to see The Bahai Shrine, Mount Carmel and a panoramic view of the city. Proceed to Caesarea to visit the Roman theatre and Crusader fortress. Drive to Tel Aviv and continue to Jaffa for a view of the old port and artists’ quarter. Dinner and overnight in Tel Aviv.
Day Seven	Tel Aviv - Jerusalem ( New City ). Drive to Jerusalem visit Mount Scopus for a panoramic view of Jerusalem . Then on to the Garden of Gethsemane and Mount Zion for a visit of King David’s Tomb and the Room of the Last Supper. Sightseeing of the new city, the Knesset building, Hebrew University , Yad Vashem, the memorial to the Holocaust. Continue to the Hadassah Medical Centre to see the Marc Chagall stained glass windows. Drive to hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day Eight	After breakfast transfer back to Eilat/Ovda.
